Suri Pintado is an alternative tourism enterprise catering in various services to both domestic and international tourists. The headquarters are at Finca Chivilme, a short distance from El Carril. Set in the midst of the Valle de Lerma, 45 km from Salta City, the Finca is surrounded by rolling slopes, thick forests and mid sized hills that gently flow into the valley and allow a unique scenery. A few hundred meters from the main house are the ruins of ancient Inca buildings where these early inhabitants settled long before the Spanish conquest
Suri Pintado is at the final stages in the process of getting the clearance from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the province of Salta

Suri Pintado offers two types of outings:

Regular rides within the Finca

One or two day programmes are available and include riding along the hills of Alto Chivilme on the western border of the Finca (See Location section). See more details in the Riding section with itineraries, prices and recommendations. See more

Special riding outings
